Industrial espionage: Video chat app offers reward for leads Since the coronavirus pandemic has forced many of us indoors, people are trying all kinds of new ways to socialize with each other. What’s more, they’re calling the claim a “paid commercial smear campaign.” If a data breach did occur, we’d probably know about it, so there’s a good chance Houseparty isn’t lying. And hey, $1,000,000 is a great incentive. Know any hackers? Though a data breach might not have happened, you should still protect yourself.
