The measure secured just about 60% of the vote in Baton Rouge and nearly 70% in Baker, as Paul Cobler reports in this story.

In another local judicial race, meanwhile, lawyers Terrel "TK" Kent and Carson Marcantel advanced to a Dec. 11 runoff for an unexpired term on Baton Rouge City Court.
New details in shootingOfficials released the names of three people involved in a shooting that left a 16-year-old girl dead by Glen Oaks High in Baton Rouge Friday.
