Burger King's troubles hit Lafayette

Two Burger King locations have closed in Lafayette, the latest troubles for the struggling national chain that was expected to shutter 400 locations that CEO Joshua Kobza identified as “older and underperforming” by the end of last year.

Here we are in 2024, and two more have gone down. Hooters abruptly closed its doors earlier this week.

No one said the restaurant industry was easy.
