1. Relief for Venezuelan migrants with the enactment of the Temporary Protection Statute for Migrants.

The Colombian government announced it is offering a 10-year temporary protection status to Venezuelans in the country. The new measures announced Monday will allow the government to register all Venezuelans in the country, giving them identity cards, and gather key sociodemographic data.

2. Vaccination efforts continue with the unveiling of MiVacuna App.

Continuing with the vaccination plans that will start on late February 2021, the Colombian Government launched MiVacuna App for citizens to track their vaccination appointment. 

3. Colombian Government confirmed an upcoming Tax Reform. 

The impending tax reform will be the sixth tax reform to be enacted in Colombia in the last 10 years. The greatest impact will be felt by individuals and not by companies.
