1. Flights from and to Brazil are restricted for a 30 day term.

Considering the new coronavirus strain identified in Brazil, Colombia decided to suspend all flights from and to this country. Cargo flights will continue operating with security measures in place.

2. New regulation pertaining to consumer protection matters in the automotive sector.

The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio) modified rules related to, among others, safety campaigns for defective vehicles and exceptions to the duty of reporting a defect.

3. “Bogota Under Construction” is set to be the guideline for key issues in Bogotá towards 2024.

Bogotá’s District Government issued a presentation in which it detailed that: (i) water and decontamination; (ii) Transportation, (iii) Health and education, (iv) Urban renewal and (v) Smart Cities were the guiding points for this Administration towards 2024.
