1. Reminder on new health disclaimers related to the control of tobacco and its relationship with Covid-19.

As of July 21st, 2021, the packaging and labels of tobacco products and its derivatives marketed in Colombia will have to include new health warnings.

2. Government extends special measures to contain Covid-19.

The Decree on Selective Isolation with Responsible Individual Distancing will be extended until February 28th, a regulation that comprises special measures to contain Covid-19 in places with high, medium and low pandemic affectation, and also according to occupancy levels of intensive care units.

3. Draft bill to prohibit mining in moorlands continues its approval process in Congress.

The bill that expressly prohibits mining in the country's moorlands has already been approved in its first four debates in the Congress of the Republic and awaits its second round on March 16, when the legislature returns to ordinary sessions.
