1.Compensation for companies related to aircraft teaching and training activities.

By means of Resolution 1099 of 29 May 2020, the Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aviation (“Aeronáutica Civil”) established a compensation mechanism for payment of the 2020 operational fee by companies and aircraft engaged in teaching and training activities.

2.      Measures for the reactivation of the air and airport operation.

By means of Resolution 1187 of 2020, the Special Administrative Unit for Civil Aviation ("Aerocivil") issues a set of measures to be taken by aeronautical maintenance workshops or organizations, special air work companies and the aeronautical training centers on the ground and in flight for their reactivation.

3.National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) set forth rules for contractual requests and procedures

Circular Letter No. 254 reminded the definitive reactivation of infrastructure projects under its charge with the issuance of Resolution No. 6185 of 2020 and set forth the need to having the approval of the Legal Vice-Presidency for the execution of any contractual document that seeks to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic..

 
4.New temporary VAT exemptions and exclusions are issued

Decree 789 of 2020 established transitional VAT benefits. These benefits were determined for chemical raw materials purchased for the purpose of producing medicines, franchise contracts and in the importation of public or private passenger and freight vehicles.
