Considering the massive review process of foreign investment records promoted by the Superintendence of Companies (Superintendencia de Sociedades) ("SS"), we will make a brief review of the international investment regime in force in Colombia, the current registration process and the consequences of non-compliance in case of investigations by the SS. Likewise, we will specify the roles of the National Government and the Central Bank (Banco de la República) in this regime.
