Sons Credit Their Father for Michigan Ford Dealership Success

Walter Douglas, 87, took ownership of Southfield-based Avis Ford in 1986, which he passed over to his sons Mark and Edmond in 2005, the Detroit Free Press reports. The dealership is No. 18 in sales among Black-owned dealerships in the country, according to Black Enterprise.
