The latest amendment to a two-year class action - by XRP investors against Ripple - has added two "alternative" claims which operate under the theory that XRP is not a security. The added claims appear to find compensation for XRP investors regardless of whether or not XRP is found to be a security, by claiming relief for cases of false advertising and unfair competition in violation of Californian laws. A Russian Bitcoin mining farm was caught stealing more than $200,000 worth of state electricity per month, resulting in ten arrests. The electricity was stolen from eight different facilities, with operations set up in several abandoned factories to remain hidden.
