Editor's Notes I got my first COVID-19 vaccine dose today. I say this not to brag, but to submit it as an interesting subject for a tech reporter. Maybe I've just been working in my house too long, but I was struck by the different parts of the process where tech was involved. Software powers the signup and booking system to schedule a vaccine, and the iPads used by staff onsite. Then there's the vaccine itself, which is a biotechnology feat. As a technologist, what part of the vaccine process stood out to you? Reply here or email [email protected]. —Stephen Babcock, assistant editor, Technical.ly ([email protected]) |
