Next Thursday, March 03, 2022, at 08:50-11:00 VN (GMT+7), the last of the 03 roadshows to introduce the Vietnam National Trade Repository (VNTR) will be held in Hai Phong and broadcast via Zoom.

The VNTR will contain important information, such as preferential tariffs under FTAs which Viet Nam is a party to, Rules of Origin for each commodity under different FTAs, NTMs applied to imported – exported goods, as well as trade and customs related laws and regulations, etc. which are searchable through a search function using the Harmonized System (HS) Codes.
This is a project of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), funded by UK government. Once launched in mid-March 2022, it will be a free-to-access online information platform that provides all the latest trade regulations and information that businesses need to export and import to and from Viet Nam.

2021 has been one of the most challenging years for the Vietnamese economy. According to VCCI and the World Bank, nearly 90% of FDI companies have been significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially SMEs or enterprises who have been in operation for less than 3 years.
To overcome the challenges caused by the pandemic, the Vietnamese Government has issued support packages to enable businesses to have as much help as possible to survive.
