Gazing on British technology rooftop solar power system at VinUniversity - the first private non-profit university in Vietnam “I am very happy to see the green, smart and modern campus of VinUni, including the solar power system using 500 solar panels by UKSOL the British solar PV panel company."- British Ambassador to Vietnam Gareth Ward shared during his visit to VinUni on 27 August. The solar power system at VinUni University produces an average daily electricity output of about 600 kWh - nearly enough for all equipment installed in VinUni's experimental building. The more solar power systems are installed, the closer Vietnam can get to its goals of having 20% share of renewable energy sources in total primary energy production. As one of the leading countries in renewable energy, the UK is committed to support Vietnam in its transition to greener and cleaner energy sources. |
