He has focused on international and national corporate taxation, foreign investment and matters related to business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and, in general, in all tax matters related to corporate and commercial law. In addition, he is the author of several publications and has been a frequent guest as a lecturer in specialized forums in Colombia and abroad. He has been a professor at the Universidad de los Andes and the Pontifica Javeriana. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois.
