All things COVID: If you haven't been vaccinated against the coronavirus, BREC doesn't want you inside its buildings for more than 15 minutes. The city-parish park system announced today they would require masks of everyone who cannot prove they've been vaccinated. Before the ink dried on that proclamation, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome held a news conference to address the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the city-parish but said she wouldn't go as far as BREC has gone. To see how Louisiana and East Baton Rouge Parish are faring against the coronavirus, check out our numbers here.
