Try us out today here. 'A reminder of the dreadful toll' Scotland passed a grim milestone today as it was announced more than 4,000 people have now died from Covid-19 in the country. Speaking at FMQs this afternoon, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said it should be a "moment of reflection" as she confirmed 50 more people were recorded to have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Travel caused second wave in Scotland That's according to a new report from the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), which shows Scotland was close to eliminating the virus during the first lockdown but national and international travel re-seeded it.
