Nicola Sturgeon extends restrictions on hospitality for another week

It's the news the hospitality sector was dreading.

The First Minister has announced current restrictions on the hospitality sector have been extended until next week.

The temporary lockdown rules imposed on pubs and restaurants on October 9 were due to finish at the end of this week on October 25.

But following a cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning, Ms Sturgeon confirmed the Scottish Government has decided to extend the restrictions until November 2.
