Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan is retiring, effective June 30, the company announced Thursday. The bank has remained in the spotlight for unfair consumer practices that began under prior CEO John Stumpf. Allen Parker will serve as interim CEO and president, effectively immediately. Shares jumped 2.7 percent in extended trading.
