BREAKING NEWS: US Economy Adds More Jobs in January Than Expected

The U.S. economy added 227,000 net new jobs in January, beating expectations for 175,000 jobs. The unemployment rate rose 4.8% from 4.7%, while the labor fore participation rate edged up to 62.9% from 62.7% in December.
