BREAKING NEWS: Home Prices Rise Less Than Expected

Home prices in 20 major U.S. metro areas rose 0.1% in September from the month prior on a non-seasonally-adjusted basis, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index. That missed the 0.4% expectation. From the same period a year prior, prices saw a 5.1% increase, missing expectations of a 5.2% rise.
