On Friday 10 November YoungShip Rotterdam and Young RMSC are hosting an open dialogue between young maritime professionals and seasoned leadership at Europort. The event will provide valuable insights into how companies can bridge the perceived generation gap in the workplace. Earlier this year the Young Maritime Board and Erasmus UPT conducted a study into the needs and motives of young maritime professionals active in the Rotterdam region, leading to unprecedented insights. For example, the results showed that 51% of young professionals are contemplating to jump ship towards other industries. Alarming signals calling for action, if companies are looking to keep young professionals onboard. |
