Coding For Kids Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to work with and understand the technology around them. Having children learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future. Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence. Kids as young as 7 years of age can start coding and learning programming basics. In fact, coding for kids has gained popularity rapidly in recent years as technology becomes increasingly part of everyday life. Kids who learn to code when they're young can set themselves up for a lifetime of opportunities for success. Taylor Jenkins Reid Taylor Jenkins Reid began her career in film production. She worked as a casting assistant for three years, after she graduated from college before trying other jobs. Reid started writing part time while working at a high school until she got a book deal. Her first novel, Forever, Interrupted was published in 2013. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was published in 2017. It was nominated for a Goodreads Choice Award for Best Historical Fiction of 2017 and was a finalist for Book of the Month's Book of the Year award in 2017. Her 2019 novel, Daisy Jones & The Six, is being developed into a web-based miniseries by Amazon Studios, and will be co-produced by Reese Witherspoon. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
