Hi John,
The team here at BoldBrush has been working really hard to help you sell more art on FASO. One of the things that we're super excited about is our newBoldBrush Art Marketing Playbook, orAMPfor short. It's a step-by-step guide that helps you focus on doing the most important marketing tasks so that you can spend less time marketing, more time painting, and sell more art than ever. FASO is designed to make AMP even more effective. With AMP and FASO you'll spend even less time marketing, more time painting, and sell even more art. We call this powerful combinationAMP2. AMP2 only works, though, if you put it into practice(and we all know how hard getting started can be sometimes). So we wanted to make it easier for you to build the habit of using AMP2 to grow you art sales. In order to help,we've developed a series of weekly emails that we're calling theBoldBrush AMP Weekly Action Planthat will guide you through the steps that you need to take that week to put AMP2 into action. You'll find this week's steps below. Just follow along and before long you'll be well on your way to growing your art sales with AMP and FASO! Week 3 Action Plan: 1. Enter the BoldBrush Art Contest & Exhibit.
Every FASO Account comes with free entries into the BoldBrush Art Contest.
Pick a piece or two(or more if on higher plans) that you want to enter into this month's BoldBrush Art Contest. You do this in your FASO account by clicking "contests" in the top bar and then clicking "Enter Contest" next to the BoldBrush Art Contest logo. Offer the pieces for sale:When you enter your artwork(s), to maximize your chances to sell, check the box that gives us permission to add purchase buttons next to your artwork(s) on the contest exhibit site. All sales will still go through your website and BoldBrush, at this time, takes zero commission on those sales. Expand your audience: Entering the BoldBrush contest is a way you can get a larger audience to see your art, plus, sometimes our staff notices your work in the contest and highlights some of the pieces on social media. It's an easy and free way to add a chance to expose your work to a larger audience. Plus you may win a prize or an honor to add to your resume!
2. Post your BoldBrush Art Contest Entries to Facebook / Instagram.
Post your contest entries to Facebook and encourage your followers to vote for your piece! Be sure to include a link to the entry on the contest site. This gives you yet another reason to "soft promote" your art to your fans and gives you a great call to action (vote for my painting) that is a smaller step than "buy my art." Plus, if you allowed us, we'll add a purchase button next to your art so your best fans may still choose to purchase! Post your contest entries to Instagram and encourage your followers to vote for your piece! Be sure to include a link to the entry on the contest site in your Instagram profile (and point that out in your caption). This gives you yet another reason to "soft promote" your art to your fans and gives you a great call to action (vote for my painting) that is a smaller step than "buy my art." When you post to Instagram, add the following hashtags: #art #artist #artwork #fineart #painting #artoftheday #contemporaryart #originalartwork #creativework #boldbrush #instaart
