Hi John,
If you haven't heard yet, the team here at BoldBrush have been working really hard to help you sell more art on FASO. One of the things we're super excited about is something we call theBoldBrush Art Marketing Playbook, orAMPfor short. It's a step-by-step guide that helps you focus on doing the most important marketing tasks so you can spend less time marketing, more time painting, and sell more art than ever. FASO is designed to make AMP even more effective. Imagine that! With AMP and FASO you'll spend even less time marketing, more time painting, and sell even more art. We call this powerful combinationAMP2.
AMP2 only works, though, if you put it into practice (and we all know how hard getting started can be sometimes). So we wanted to make it easier for you to build the habit of using AMP2 to grow your art sales.
In order to help, we've developed a series of weekly emails we're calling the BoldBrush AMP Weekly Action Plan that will guide you through the steps you need to take that week to put AMP2 into action. You'll find this week's steps below. Just follow along and before long you'll be well on your way to growing your art sales with AMP and FASO! Week 1 Action Plan: 1. Upload any new art you have ready.
When you upload, set the visibility of these piece(s) to "Your website" so FASO doesn't send a new art alert or feature it in the DailyArtStream yet (That will come next week). If you don't have any new art ready, we recommend you choose a piece or two of your older works that haven't been shown to your collectors much yet.
2.Personally reach out to your best collectors.
Personal Emails (Not newsletters) Personal Calls Personal Text Messages This works best if you reach out to those people specifically you think might be interested in these particular piece(s). The main idea is you have to make somepersonaloutreach this week. When you reach out, make sure to start by making a personal connection first by sharing a story you know this person would appreciate. Perhaps something funny or interesting happened recently you can share you know this collector would appreciate? Or perhaps something that happened recently reminded you of this person? Whatever it is you share, make sure it's something this person will appreciate. After you connect through your story, then talk about your piece, why you think it would be perfect for them, and ask them what they think. If you don't have a list of past collectors or a contact list at all, then spend the time you would have spent on personal outreach making a list ofeveryoneyou know andeveryoneyou can think of or have records for who has ever expressed interest in your art. Keep that list handy for upcoming weeks. 3. Decide what story you want to tell in your newsletter later this month. Your story may revolve around new art, it may revolve around something you've been inspired by, it may revolve around an event or exhibit you've planned. You'll also want to start thinking through what piece(s) of art you want to feature in your newsletter. Don't go overboard, just choose 1-3 pieces.
4. Join our private Art Marketing Mastermind Group
If you haven't already done so, join our private, for FASO Members only Art Marketing Mastermind group. You'll learn even more marketing ideas and can ask questions about the best way to implement these ideas.
