Black Wood St. Benedict Sick - Call Crucifix
Made of black stained wood this crucifix features a silver-plated 5 1/2" corpus and a large 1 3/4" Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict. This crucifix measures 12 3/4"H and is designed to hang on the wall until the critical time of illness when the Priest is called to administer the Sacrament of Extreme Unction / Annointing of the Sick. At that time it can be laid on the bedside table - the top crucifix slides up and off to be placed upright in the base with one candle on either side; the included vial is for holy water. When properly blessed by a Priest, the St. Benedict Crucifix becomes a powerful sacramental against evil.
