I want to watch these old tapes again! Q: I was cleaning (my pandemic hobby) and found a stack of old VHS tapes. I saw you got some of your tapes digitized. What service is the best? A: I did, and it's been so much fun to see those memories again. Let the pros at iMemories do the heavy lifting for you. Just send in your old tapes (or photos, slides, whatever you've got), and iMemories will send you back high-quality digital copies. You even get them right to your phone for easy sharing and viewing with all your loved ones. It really is as easy as sending in your tapes. Because honestly, who has a VCR anymore? I have a special discount code just for you. Visit iMemories.com/Kim and use code Kim to get 25% off your order. |
Choosing new workstations Q: I run my own business and I could use some help choosing laptops and computers for my team. Where should I start? A: If you're not a total tech geek, figuring out what to spend your money on is seriously stressful. I could tell you a few models to check out (we use Dell OptiPlex and Precision workstations at Komando HQ), but really, you need help finding the right models for you and your business. Dell Technologies Advisors can guide you. They have financing options, too, and can help you get everything set up correctly. Right now, Dell has incredible Black Friday specials so you can save a ton of money. Check out the sales here, then call 877-ASK-DELL to find technology that can help your small business. |
Help! The resumes won't stop Q: I need to hire someone, but I can barely manage all the resumes I get when I post a job online. I stick to the free sites to save cash, but I'm feeling like that's the wrong move. Any advice? A: You can attract a lot of candidates on those sites, but as you've found, you won't necessarily get the right ones. It's a ton of work sorting through all of that! You might not even find anyone who fits the job. When I'm hiring, I use LinkedIn Jobs. It can help by matching your role with qualified candidates so you can find the right person quickly. LinkedIn screens for skills and you can use a ton of different tools to narrow down your search. That means so much less work on your end. You can pay what you want, and you can use my special link to get $50 off your first posting. |
