| Researchers say they've uncovered a text file containing nearly 10 billion unique passwords, all stored in plain text, TechRadar reported. While a serious development, it seems that the passwords have been gathered together from various attacks and leaks over the last 20 years. “In its essence, the RockYou2024 leak is a compilation of real-world passwords used by individuals all over the world,” the researchers said, adding that it could lead to an increase in attempts by hackers to access users' accounts. | Sony is ending production of recordable Blu-ray discs (BD) for the consumer market due to the growing use of high-capacity hard disk drives (HDDs) and the proliferation of video streaming services, Japan News reported.
