| | 💻️ Tech Tip From Kim Komando | | | 📊 Where Inflation Stands Several Months Into New Tariffs | Economists have been all over the board with predictions on inflation and how tariffs may impact it. | For his part, Fed chair Jerome Powell has taken a cautious wait-and-see approach to cutting interest rates. | Inflation data so far this year somewhat suggests that 1) tariffs haven’t created as much inflation as expected and 2) tariffs are now slowly impacting the numbers. | Real inflation came in under economists' expectations for four consecutive months, before reading 2.7% for June, exactly in line with expectations. | Inflation fell to 2.3% in April, the lowest in more than four years, before creeping to 2.3% and 2.7%. | But some of the categories may be just as interesting as the macro view.
