The year 2022 in Berlin will once again be colourful and offer numerous cultural and sporting event highlights. The 72 International Film Festival - the Berlinale - will kick things off. In summer, the CSD, the Special Olympics and long nights await you. 72nd International Film Festival Berlin

The Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale for short, takes place annually in Berlin and is one of the most important film festivals.
The festival's central venue remains the Berlinale Palast on Potsdamer Platz, where the press centre, service facilities and other festival cinemas are also located. In addition, as in the past, the Berlinale will play in numerous cinemas throughout the city.
