1. Miss Poland 1991, Miss International 1991: Agnieszka Kotlarska Pageant titleholder Agnieszka Kotlarska's life was tragically cut short at the age of 24 when she was stabbed to death by a stalker.
Before she was crowned Miss Poland and Miss International in 1991, the model was a victim of stalking. She attended the same high school as her stalker, Jerzy Lisiewski, which only spurred on his unhealthy obsession, reports Plotek.
Agnieszka went on to have a successful career as a model in the United States, despite the ordeal and worked on campaigns for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her photos were featured in international editions of Cosmopolitan and Vogue.
Agnieszka fell pregnant in 1993 and married Jaroslaw Swiatek shortly thereafter. The couple returned to Poland permanently - when her stalker resurfaced.
