New State of the Art Online Store/Gallery
For those of you that have been with us since we launched CVtreasures.com, 18 years ago (2005), we thank you for your loyalty! But, with all the technology changes its time we moved to a newer state of the art website that better showcases our Museum Grade Vintage Poster Art and Historical Aesthetic Vintage Treasures. . Also, when we started collecting back in 1980 is was primarily vintage movie posters and autographs. However, over the past 15 years we have diversified into multiple poster art genres including vintage Circus & Magic, Sports, Political, Military, Western, Advertising and other categories of poster art. . In addition, the most significant upgrade to our collecting passion has been Historical photography. Even more then poster art, historical Type I photography captures the most important people and events like no other medium. . For example, only Brave photographers of major 20th century wars were THERE to capture those split second fleeting moments of History. . You can record a true life Harry Houdini live performance on film, but you can’t do with art. With art you can only create your interpretation for what happened or what you copy off an original photograph. The real thing, the authentic true to life moment can ONLY be capture on an original photo. . Marilyn Monroe’s personal photographer George Barris was with Marilyn for her last photo shoot in July 1962 capturing her many poses on Santa Monica beach. He captured Live authentic moments of her in person, on his camera. An artist can only create an interpretation like Andy Warhol did from a photograph. . .. So the primary theme of this new site will Vintage Poster Art , Historical Photography and Luxury Home Décor. . The news site www.VintagePostersForSale.com is still under construction and not yet ready to accept orders but you can check out the new design, and feel free to give us your feedback. . Meanwhile cvtreasures.com is not going away but will be supplemented with our new Vintage Poster Art & Historical Photography site. It will still be the Store to browse our entire inventory and place your orders. . The New site will feature new exciting features like Video and Live Exhibitions, large category images in an Art Gallery style, a Chat feature so you can ask questions in real time and much more
