| | | Winner "Joy" | | Federico Guidetti | Federico Guidetti from Castelnovo Sotto, Italy is the winner of the 2022 Leica Witness Photographer Call in the category “Joy” which forms the latest part of Leica’s multi-awarded campaign, ‘The World Deserves Witnesses’. With this photo, Federico wanted to show that there is still a playful side to all of us, no matter the experiences we may have had in our lives.

| | | Winner "hope" | | Markus Jeanneret | Markus Jeanneret from Basel, Switzerland is the winner of the 2022 Leica Witness Photographer Call in the category “Hope” which forms the latest part of Leica’s multi-awarded campaign, ‘The World Deserves Witnesses’. He captured the photo in the courtyard of an art museum in Stockholm in July 2022 whilst on a walk. The picture shows the polarity between joy and hope, between being locked in and being free.
