BBGV REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE

This year the BBGV’s Remembrance Sunday event will be held on the morning of Sunday 13th November at the Consulate General Gardens. This event is open to BBGV members and their families. It commemorates the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts and will be led by Group Captain David Houghton, the newly appointed Defence Attaché for Vietnam.

Group Captain David Houghton joined the Royal Air Force in 1984 training to become a pilot. After several tours and operational tours based in the UK he served as the UK’s Defence Attaché to the Republic of Poland from 2012 to 2015 and moved to Vietnam in October this year.

REGISTER NOW: BBGV HANOI 2ND ANNUAL CHARITY FUN RUN

The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) proudly announces that the BBGV Hanoi 2nd annual charity Fun Run will take place on Sunday 6th November 2016. Since its inception, we have proudly raised over 9 billion VND for charities across the width and breath of Vietnam. Over the years, over 85,000 runners and walkers have taken part. Carrying the message, “Run for Fun, Run for Charity”, this event has been a great opportunity for company team-buildings and family outings. Above all, Fun Run for Charity raises money for a variety of causes including wildlife, protection, medical support, education and welfare. Looking to the people in the central Vietnam who have suffered from the serve typhoon, BBGV would like to donate all the fund raised from Fun Run this year to help ease their pain.
