We are pleased to inform you that the BBGV AGM will take place at 4.30pm on Tuesday 2 June 2020. The AGM is held to share with our members on our activities, achievements and plans and to approve the new Board representing our business interest and raising the members’ voice for the year 2019-2020. Standing for Election If you are interested in running for the BBGV Board 19-20 or would like to nominate someone else, please fill out the attached Nomination Formand return it to BBGV Secretariat by noon Wednesday 15 May 2020 by email or hand. • All nominations must be signed by the proposer, the seconder, and the nominee. • New candidates are required to submit a short bio (max 250 words), a CV along with a photograph. • For existing Board Members, a written supporting statement should be provided on the length of service and BBGV responsibilities (no more than 250 words). • All nominees, please note the expectation of being a BBGV Board Member as mentioned in the attached document. A list of nominees will be featured on the BBGV website and distributed via E-newsletter at least 10 days prior to the AGM. Voting Rights Only Ordinary Individuals members (1 vote) and Ordinary Corporate members (2 votes from the nominated voting member) are allowed to vote on the election of new Board Members. If you are unable to attend the AGM, you can cast your vote via online voting. Details of this service will be sent two weeks prior to the AGM. If you cannot attend the AGM, please find the attached PROXY FORM or contact us to appoint another Ordinary member to attend and vote on your behalf.
