Good morning. Here's what we got going on today.


Deadly week in Baton Rouge

A 23-year-old father was shot to death outside a Holiday Inn by I-12 Monday morning.

It was one of several killings to take place in East Baton Rouge over the past few days, which have seen a strong of murder-suicides — one in Hammond and another in Baton Rouge Friday followed by another on Sunday — as well as a stabbing death, fatal beating and an argument that culminated in gunfire. 


Gov goes to Glasgow

With an entourage of staff and security in tow, Gov. John Bel Edwards plans to jet off to Scotland for a United Nations climate change conference that's expected to draw diplomats from 200 countries, as The Advocate's Capital News Bureau reports. 


Dogs in the fight

Police say they found a blood-stained shed and 15 branded and wounded pit bulls at the home of a Baker man who's awaiting trial on charges of running a dog-fighting ring. Joe Gyan Jr. has the story.
