| | The tech leaders of tomorrow As we look toward the next generation of tech leaders, we are inspired by the bright and ambitious young women who are currently pursuing education and learning skills that may propel them into tech and STEM. Throughout this month, we've highlighted notable women in tech history whose stories are well-known and whose names we want to amplify. Today, we'd like to acknowledge the young women and girls whose work isn't deemed worthy or publishable, and whose names won't ring bells — yet. We're talking about the ones still in middle or high school, trying to figure out friendship, let alone what they'll do when they grow up. Here's to the women in tech's future, especially Black women. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to gather insights from six Baltimore City school students during their career day. It was inspiring to hear about their dreams and aspirations. As a community, we need to support and encourage these young women [and men] to pursue their interests and passions in tech. So, in what ways are you feeding into the women in tech's future? Let's uplift and amplify the voices and work of all women in tech, especially those who may not have the platform or visibility at present. Together, we can create a more inclusive and diverse future for the tech industry. — Technical.ly reporter Alanah Nichole Davis ([email protected]) | | | | By The American Medical Extended Reality Association is less than a year old, but it's doing big things, as evidenced in Technical.ly's visit to its home base in Horizon Worlds.
