'We're alive. They're dead.' Baltimore-area students join nationwide demonstration against gun violence

Students at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute poured out the back doors of the school and onto the football field just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, joining with thousands of students in Maryland and across the nation in a coordinated effort to honor the 17 lives lost one month ago in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

At Excel Academy in Baltimore, national walkout against gun violence hits close to home
