Despite sales of its Pixel smartphone range that have been quite depressing, search behemoth Google is releasing another device in its Pixel range, with the Pixel 4a to be made available for purchase in the US this month at a recommended price starting at US$349 (A$489).

Adobe and Google announced a collaboration making it easier to create PDFs through ‘.new’ shortcuts to Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Spark. Just type PDF.new into your browser and away you go they say.

The security firm Emsisoft claims that cyber attackers earned more than £200 million in ransoms from British companies in 2019, with the criminals who demanded, and received the money, being in many cases from Russia and Eastern Europe.
