💓Volunteer Appreciation Day is August 11th💓
Our amazing volunteers are what keep the Ottawa Tool Library running so smoothly! We are celebrating all of the incredible people who dedicate their time and skills to the OTL. If you or your business would like to thank our volunteers (donations, food, prizes), please reach out to us!

Summer Special on WorkSpace Safety & Orientation 101

Ready to start working on your project in our NEW WorkSpace? This required course will teach you the safe usage of the following tools: band saw, mitre saw, drill press, drill, scroll saw, jig saw, and sander.
Register for August 15th 6:30 - 9 PM.

This summer only - receive a FREE one month work pass for our WorkSpace upon finishing this course!

August Repair Cafe
We're hosting another Repair Café at Makerspace North on Saturday, August 17th.
Fixers will be on hand to help you repair items like small appliances, clothing, chairs etc.
You can claim a spot via the link below!

🌈Ottawa Pride Parade

We'll be walking in Ottawa's Pride Parade on Sunday August 25th and invite you to join us. Need a costume, update an old t-shirt, make some funky buttons? Come to our Repair Café this month where will have our button maker and sewing help to assist you. We will announce more details on our social media platforms shortly about where we will be meeting up to start the walk.

Our most popular workshop sold out quickly this month! We will announce our fall workshop schedule later this month. Stay tuned to our Facebook page to be the first to know!

Community and Demo Night: Home Canning

Have you always wanted to put food in jars? Join us on August 26th!
With harvest season upon us, this is the time to learn the most up-to-date methods in home canning for safe food preservation.

Monthly DIY Bike Maintenance
Every last Wednesday of the summer months, our resident bike ninjas will be on hand to answer your questions about DIY bike maintenance!
We have bike stands, an extensive set of ParkTool bike tools, and basic supplies (lube, rags, etc.). Please bring any replacement parts you need to work on your bike.

Sign up for our next session on Wednesday, August 28th. We are offering one-hour slots between 6 pm and 9 pm.
Cost $10
