Expanding on the success of our inaugural specialist auction of Books, Coins and Stamps held at the end of last year, we’re thrilled to bring you our 20th March auction which is now live to view online.
With over 300 lots across each specialist area, collectors and enthusiasts alike are sure to find something to tempt them. Highlights include; a complete set of Ian Fleming’s iconic James Bond novels, a 16th century ‘Matthew’s Bible’, numerous cased sets of proof gold coins, various interesting collections of stamps and even a large 19th century map of London by Cruchley.
As one sale goes live, we’re also delighted to share with you the fantastic results from our March 6th Fine Art, Antiques and Jewellery auction. The top selling lot of the day was a stunning single stone diamond ring which sold for £13,000, closely followed by an equally beautiful three stone emerald and diamond ring that reached £10,000. Both were highly contested with competitive bidding taking place between the phones, online and in the room. An impressive oil on canvas by Sidney Richard Percy realised £8,000 and a delightful 18ct gold and enamel Faberge Surprise Egg sold for £7000.
