G'day, Nobody enjoys a Zoom call. Well, not any sane people that is. Meetings in general have been the bane of many worker's existence for as long as anyone can remember. And Atlassian, after forking out $1.5bn on its latest acquisition, says it has found the secret to upending them once and for all. That secret lies within a platform called Loom, one that allows people to attend meetings whenever suits them. And it's one that has saved Atlassian 375 million minutes, according to co-founder Scott Farquhar. Flying has long been one of the very few places where you're able to fully disconnect from the online world – and still sit back and enjoy a movie if you're lucky. But WiFi is progressing, and Qantas customers flying to Asia will soon be some of the first to experience the company's fast and free WiFi on an international flight. I probably wouldn't tell your boss that one just yet. Speaking of frequent flying, DiDi customers are about to get one step closer to earning that free flight. That is thanks to a partnership with Virgin and its Velocity Frequent Flyer platform that is allowing DiDi customers to collect points on every trip. The move is straight from the Uber playbook. |
