β Were you affected by the AT&T outage? The firm is offering an account credit to make up for it
|
β Following AT&T's disastrous outage last week, the carrier is responding with account credits β but don't get too excited |
β AT&Tβs network went down for a lot of its customers across the U.S. last Thursday, preventing people from making calls, sending messages, and using the internet. The company said in a message on Saturday that it wants to "help make it right" by giving something back to affected customers, and so will apply a credit to their accounts thatβs equivalent to βthe average cost of a full day of service,β which AT&T puts at $5. Some customers are pretty annoyed at the offer, so we may not have heard the last of this. Those entitled to the credit should receive it automatically within two bill cycles, but if it doesn't show up then contact AT&T customer support to ensure you get the $5 to which youβre entitled ... |

β Xiaomiβs newest smartwatch has a super-unusual feature
|
β Xiaomi just announced a new smartwatch at MWC 2024 β and it has a very unusual (and equally cool) feature |
β Remember when you could change the faceplate on old Nokia phones? Well, Xiaomi has updated that feature for 2024 and applied it to a smartwatch instead. On the new Xiaomi Watch S3 (announced at MWC 2024), you can twist and remove the bezel around the screen and replace it with another for a new look, then see the watch face automatically switch to an exclusive one that complements it. You can also match it with a new strap. The options include Chrome Yellow, Rainbow, Dual-tone Ceramic, and an Ocean Blue color schemes, along with at least black and off-white color straps, meaning you really will be able to change the entire look of the watch quite easily ... |
