**** New class with Nanette! Samples are here at the shop now!

Thursday evening, June 28th from 6 till 8 p.m. –
“Watercolors!” Learn Nanette’s watercolor techniques, practice, and then complete a card to take home with you! Samples are here at the shop and on fb soon. Class fee is $18.00. Please preregister, prepay, and we will let you know what to bring….thanks!

The Art Room will continue having evening classes through the summer, if you would like!

Friday, June 22nd at 1 p.m. –
One of Deborah’s polymer clay classes this month are the “Cupcake Cuties!” In this 60-90 minute class, you will create an adorable miniature cupcake that can be made into a large charm or is perfectly sized to be used as play food for 18” American Girl style dolls! We will use a mold to create the base and then I will show you how to use household items to create a realistic color and texture. Each cupcake can then be decorated however you choose! ( Please note that additional baking time might be required for this class, finished cured charms may need to be picked up later.) No experience necessary, ages 8 and up, please. Class fee is $18.00 and includes all materials!

Friday, June 29th at 1 p.m. –
Deborah’s other polymer clay class is a “Nature Print Pendant!” In this 60-90 minute class, you will create a stunning pendant using real leaves! Lovely, fresh from the garden leaves are pressed into the clay and then highlighted with shimmering pearl powders. We will then use a
surprising household material to achieve the final result. Each finished pendant can be strung on bold satin cording for a ready to wear, one of a kind creation! No experience necessary, ages 8 and up, please. Class fee is $18.00 and includes all materials!

Tuesday, June 19th at 1 p.m. –
Deborah’s “A-Wash With Color!” class is too cool! In this 60-90 minute class, you will create your very own, one of a kind pendant using a variety of art materials such as: alcohol inks, scrapbook paper, embossing powders, washi tape and wire! (Lots of materials will be available to use, but feel free to bring anything special that you might want to use.) Class fee is $18.00 and includes all materials!

Please preregister and prepay for all of Deborah’s classes, so that she can prepare her class kits, thanks!

****New Class with Sheila and Lillian!

Saturday, June 23rd at 12:30 p.m. (after the “make & take”) –
Sheila and Lillian will help you to create an adorable mini book entitled “My Blossoms!” You will smile when you see it, so sweet! Class fee is $18.00. Please preregister, prepay and bring your basic kit. Sample is here at the shop and on fb ….

****New Class with Anita!

Tuesday, July 17th at 2 p.m. –

Tuesday, July 24th at 2 p.m. -
Yes, it’s a “Christmas in July! -Folded Hymnal Angel!” class with Anita! And what a very special Hymnal Angel it is! So beautiful and fun to create! Sample is here at the shop and on fb soon…. Class fee is $ 30.00 and includes all supplies except glue. Please preregister and prepay. Thanks so much!

****New Class with Candy!

Saturday, July 28th at 11 a.m. –
Candy is back with her all new “Quick & Easy Christmas Cards!” for our “Christmas in July!” classes. Everyone always has a great time making Candy’s new creations and getting a big head start on the winter holidays! They will be quick and they will be easy, (so stop here at the Art Bar and do a FREE “make& take!”), then head to the back room for Candy’s class at 11 a.m.
Class fee for Candy’s class is only $10.00. Please preregister, prepay and bring your basic kit….thank you!

Anjelica stops by the shop every week or two and brings some awesome additions to her “Vintage Wardrobe!” Come see all the unique, one of a kind vintage hats! Perfect for weekends, weddings or any time at all! Stop by and try on one of these beauties! She also has many lovely floral dresses and gorgeous vintage jewelry and accessories! You don't want to miss out on any of these classic styles….

There’s lots of new handmade summer jewelry here at the shop from Mary, Sue and Phyllis! Come see!

ALL sale items on the sale table are only$1.00, yes, you read it right! Each item is only $1.00, no matter what it is marked! New items have been added !

Come join us for some wonderful classes featuring paper crafting! Summer holidays and all-occasion cards on the agenda! We will also have an option for you to do a “Christmas in July!” card every Saturday in July~! It‘s a FREE class, truly! You don’t need to sign up, you don’t need to bring a thing! Let’s play!

Thursdays, June 21st and 28th at 1 p.m. –
Thursdays, July 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th at 1 p.m. -
“Thursdays at 1 !” class is fun! Summer holidays and “everyday” projects are the themes! Samples will be on display at the shop and on fb the Tuesday before that Thursday each week. Class fee is $5.00. Please preregister, prepay, and bring your basic kit, including adhesive. Items to purchase for your basic kit are available here at the Art Room if you need them…

Our “Bookmaking Class!” is the last Tuesday of every month. It is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26th at 1 p.m. We always have a new, fun book to create!” Class fee is $20.00. Please preregister, prepay and bring your basic kit, including adhesive.

When asked to bring your “basic kit” to class, that includes your:
bone folder
ruler
personal paper cutter
brayer
uhu glue stick
tombow liquid glue
pop dots
1/8 th inch, ¼ inch and/or ½ inch double stick tape
Archival Jet Black permanent ink pad
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink pad and applicator
Tim Holtz Black Soot distress ink pad and applicator
sanding tool/ sandpaper
scissor/detail scissor
scotch tape
exacto knife
old shirt or apron to get messy
If you do not have all supplies, we have them available for purchase.
