As many of you already know The Arlington Drafthouse was forced to close due to COVID-19 for an unknown period of time. Letting ALL staff go was one of the most difficult decisions ownership has had to make considering we have had staff employed six, seven and even twelve years! We held out hope that our business Interruption insurance would cover the losses so we could keep everyone employed, but unfortunately, our claim was denied. Many of you have reached out sharing incredible memories, first dates and private events at the Drafthouse, asking how you can help. Here is how you can help as we navigate a most uncertain future.
If you want to support the Theaters, please buy tickets for future events! We have put two special events, "Bring the Laughter Back" for each venue with $50 ticket prices for those who would like to support us. Each show is being rescheduled and we ask that you either keep your tickets to the existing show, or move your tickets to another future show. Unfortunately at this time, refunds will be very difficult on us in the short term.These are difficult times - we thank you very much for your generosity and support. Bring The Laughter Back!! - Arlington
We have seen an overwhelming amount of support from our loyal customers, neighbors, family and friends. We cant thank everyone enough!!
Many of you have been asking how you can help. Buying tickets to future shows is the best form of support. We have also created this mini self-fundraiser for the Arlington Drafthouse. The tickets prices are slightly higher than our regualr shows, but the proceeds will go toward re-opening the Drafthouse and bringing employees back. It will also employ local comics!!
We are excited to get open ASAP and bring entertainment back to Arlington after this uncertain time. This show will be a great way to celebrate and laugh!!
