I learned a huge lesson years ago when I felt trapped. I woke up one morning and realized I wasn't. I was already free, but I was afraid of acting free. I felt trapped in my job because I was afraid of walking away from my paycheck, and all the benefits and securities that came with it.
When I found the courage to take that risk and step into my freedom, everything eventually fell into place for me. I was free all along. It was acting free that was scary.
