| | Aqua for All shifts governance structure toward Supervisory Council After 14 years governance under an appointed Board of Directors, as per 5 July 2016 Aqua for All is making a formal change in organizational structure. We have shifted to a model wherein full operational and financial responsibility falls directly under the management of Aqua for All. Management will be subject to periodic financial and operational review and advisory by a Supervisory Council consisting of five esteemed members, including the following: Prof. Dr. Ir. Sybe Schaap, Mr. Fon Koemans, Drs. Bernadette Blom and Ir. Martien den Blanken. Why? Greater operational effectiveness and flexibility are the main reasons for moving to this new organization model, which Aqua for All was motivated to adopt when the Dutch government entrusted a subsidy €20 million to us at the end of 2015. This shift will enable us to act more quickly as opportunities arise, speeding up decision-making processes when time is of the essence. Ultimately this should help us to maximize our contribution to structural access to safe water and adequate sanitation for populations living at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP). How? Aqua for All delivers value in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector by connecting money to value and value to money. We bring the public and private sector together to realize results-based, scalable water and sanitation solutions that help our stakeholders reach their objectives. Aqua for All works with organizations of all shapes and sizes, addressing the same objective – (structural access to safe drinking water and sanitation) from different directions, each bringing useful elements to the table. This common denominator is the glue with which we help build great partnerships. Read more about us and what we do in the Annual Report for 2015, “Value for your Money”. What will this mean for our clients and partners? Many clients and partners may not notice the change in governance structure of Aqua for All which we are announcing today. We hope that those who do observe an improvement in the way we are able to move more quickly as we work with our partners to leverage opportunities going forward together.
