IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting: Check out the final programme and don’t miss the Early Bird deadline!
We have recently added some exciting programme updates, sessions, artistic walks, parallel activities and performances for the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting, and the final programme is now online. Head over to the IETM website to build your own custom programme using the ‘Add to my schedule’ feature, available on the programme page after you have registered for the meeting.
You have until 3 May 2023 to benefit from the Early Bird Fee. With only a week to go, consider registering now and enjoy the discounted fees. After this date, a late fee will apply.
Tickets are still available for the IETM Aarhus Artistic programme, which consists of eleven carefully curated shows. To buy your tickets, click on each show in the programme and follow the affiliate links to benefit from special discounted ticket rates.
Would you like to make new connections with other IETM members during IETM Aarhus? We are looking for experienced IETM members to become a buddy, while new or recently joined IETM members, IETM Associate Member delegates and participants based in Denmark, Greenland or the Faroe Islands can request a buddy.

Following the successful pilot 2020 - 2022, the Perform Europe Consortium - IETM, European Festivals Association (EFA), Circostrada, European Dancehouse Network (EDN), IDEA Consult and with the new addition of Pearle* - are delighted to announce that they have been mandated to continue to lead Perform Europe in the coming years. The Consortium partners wish to thank the European Union for the trust they have shown.

If you’re a theatre maker, producer or festival coordinator, join us in Kosovo on 24 - 29 October 2023 for the very first time to explore the performing arts scene and cultural reality of Prishtina during the Kosovo Theatre Showcase 2023.
We especially encourage you to register if you have a particular focus on theatre programming, producing or distribution activities.
Although the meeting is still a while away, accommodation options in Luxembourg are limited and we recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.

IETM supports Europe Beyond Access as an official Dissemination Associate.
The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) is announcing a shift in focus for the upcoming edition of GCRP. The past editions were tailored for cultural and creative professionals. For the 2023 edition of GCRP, the Cultural Relations Platform opens the programme also to participants working in the field of climate change and environmental issues.
In the first few months of 2023, IETM has welcomed 49 new member organisations and performing arts professionals from across 19 countries to its network.
On 6-7 June, O Espaço do Tempo (Portugal) invites you to join the 8th edition of the Portuguese Platform for Performing Arts. The platform will present the most cutting-edge works of dance, theatre and performance created in Portugal during the last two years and offer networking opportunities. More information here.
The Cultural & Artistic Responses to Environmental Change mentorship award by our associate member Goethe-Institut & Prince Claus Fund offers a platform to explore critical artistic practices, connect engaged practitioners across the world and amplify new perspectives on the Green Transition. Each selected artist will receive an award of €10.000 to develop a project outlined in their application. Read more here and apply by 30 April.
I.c.a.p. International Collaborative Arts Productions (Norway) is sharing their most recent publication focused on the question: “Is raising awareness and centring marginalised identities enough, or is this just another wave that some artists and performers are riding until exhaustion?”. On the Move have launched their 2023 Yearbook, which explores the cultural mobility trends in 2022. With environment and sustainability as its framework, it gives a picture of where the international cultural mobility sector stands today, and a sense of where it might be heading next. The second call of the European Festivals Fund for emerging artists – EFFEA by the European Festival Association is now open. Apply before 19 June to the open call for festivals to support emerging artists. Read more here.
On May 16 2023 in Lyon, Reset! is co-hosting a Focus Meeting alongside the European Education and Culture Agency and the European Commission. This day will be dedicated to Youth, Independent Culture and Democracy. There will be two events from this Focus meeting open to the public: Focus Ukraine from 16:30-17:30 and a roundtable discussion on the state of the European Independent sector.
The Culture Moves Europe residency action provides financial support to organisations and artists registered as legal entities, in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries. The purpose of the grant is to welcome international artists and cultural professionals to implement a residency project. Applications deadline: 15 June 2023. More information here.
