Microsoft backtracks on its most controversial AI feature
| The AI-powered Recall is coming to Copilot+ PCs, but with some changes designed to improve privacy
| Microsoft’s recently announced Recall tool that supercharges search on your computer by taking screenshots caused such a stir among privacy advocates that the company has said it will make changes to the feature, Digital Trends reported. For example, you’ll now have to opt in to use Recall instead of opting out. Additionally, biometric "Windows Hello" security will be required to enable Recall, and Recall data can only be viewed by you, once your presence has been detected.
