Itâs a big part of the companyâs identity, but that didnât stop an eager social media rep from jumping on a trend that led to a blatant contradiction. Sunday, November 3 was National Sandwich Day. To celebrate, Chick-fil-A sent out a mass email to its loyalty members urging them to join in on the fun. âCalling all sandwich lovers,â the email read, âNo matter which Chick-fil-A sandwich you love, order yours on November 3 for National Sandwich Day.â Some confused fans thought the company was making an exception for this particular Sunday, but the whole thing turned out to be an honest mistake. And sure enough, the next loyalty email from the company started out with âWell⦠this is awkward.â
Oh, Chick-fil-A. At least your sandwiches are still delicious.
