There's an app for that

An app created by LSU researchers helps track COVID cases and let people know if they might've been exposed to the virus. It's called GeauxTrace, and you can learn more about it in this story by David Mitchell. 

Cemetery tour

Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville will host a cemetery tour on Halloween. Visitors are asked to bring a flashlight for the nighttime walk-through, which you can learn more about in this piece by Darlene Denstorff.

Phil's Oyster Bar has been a part of Baton Rouge restaurant history since 1950.
